CONDITIONS OF SALE:

Aston Acres goes to great lengths to produce healthy sound puppies. Puppies bred at Aston Acres carry a one year guarantee against any genetic health defects. It is impossible to predict that every animal produced at Aston Acres will be free of all health problems; which is why we offer this guarantee.

We guarantee this puppy is in good health, to the best of our knowledge, at the time of sale. To keep this warranty valid, the dog must be examined by a licensed vet within 72 hours (excluding Sunday and holidays) of receipt of the puppy. If the vet finds dog to be genetically imperfect, or have severe health problems, this dog must be returned immediately to the breeder (within 48 hours of diagnosis), accompanied by a certificate statement from the vet for replacement. If a replacement puppy is not available at the time of return, one will be made available as soon as reasonable. There are absolutely NO REFUNDS. All veterinary expenses are the responsibility of the BUYER. Said puppy is guaranteed against genetic defects for up to (1) one year and will be replaced with puppy of equal value when available.

No guarantee is made as to disposition, conformation, or breeding ability. It is impossible to accurately determine the EXACT adult size of any puppy; therefore, we cannot give any size guarantee. Size estimate is based on the size of the parents. Breeder makes no guarantees or warranties regarding the puppy’s size.

Common parasites, fleas, ticks, worms, mites, coccidia, giardia, etc. are not cause for replacement, as they are not genetic problems. The breeder will NOT pay associated vet bills that may occur from any of these things, regardless if puppy had any of these things at the time of purchase and possession. Aston Acres makes every effort to make sure that your puppy is healthy. Many of these things are a result of stress with going to a new home and do occur when puppy has otherwise been healthy at its breeder’s home. Most puppies have worms, and you should not be surprised if your puppy does have them. Although we worm on a regular schedule, every two weeks, as the vet recommends, we can't guarantee that your puppy will be free of all worms when you get it. We do not guarantee you will be able to show the dog. We do not guarantee this dog will be breeding quality. No cash refund will be given under any circumstances; only replacement puppies will be given.

The buyer has read, and understands, and has signed this guarantee. If the purchaser is unable to keep dog, for any reason, regardless of age, Aston Acres requires notification of such a situation. Aston Acres reserves the right to negotiate terms with purchaser for the return and/or placement of said dog.

If, within a (1) one year period, should this dog come down with any genetic disease, a replacement puppy will be given when available, as long as Aston Acres is still breeding. This dog is pet quality and the breeders do no claim it show quality. This dog been wormed and has received the proper immunizations.

PURCHASER(S) RESPONSIBILITY: WARRANTY APPLYING TO ALL DOGS:

(1) Breeder guarantees the described dog is a purebred Dachshund with registered parents.

(2) Breeder guarantees this dog is in good health at the time of purchase, with the following immunizations given on the dates provided, and listed in the health packet.

(3) Breeder guarantees the puppy for the next 14 days to be free from distemper, adenovirus 2, para influenza, and parvovirus. The buyer is, also, aware that the following diseases are highly contagious and may be acquired although the puppy is current on its vaccinations. (parvovirus, giardia, camphylobacteria and coccidiosis.)

(4) Breeders offer no express or implied guarantees regarding the purchase of listed puppy. Guarantees are specifically limited to this contract and therein.

PURCHASER ACKNOWLEDGES RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE FOLLOWING:

(1) Buyer agrees to take the dog to a veterinarian within 48 hours (excluding Sunday and holidays) of receipt for healthy puppy examination. If dog is found to have any life threatening health problems, buyer must notify breeder immediately. Dog may be returned to the breeder at the buyer's expense for a replacement or refund at the option of the breeder. If health problem is minor, and buyer wishes to keep animal, vet fee for the health problem may be paid by the breeder only after notification by the buyer. If buyer gives vet the permission to perform any medical procedure(s) without notifying breeder first, then vet bill must be paid in full by the buyer. If puppy gets sick within 14 days from obtaining puppy, it must be taken to a licensed veterinarian for an examination, immediately. If veterinarian diagnoses puppy with one of the previous listed diseases found in PURCHASER(S) RESPONSIBILITY: WARRANTY APPLYING TO ALL DOGS and, in the event there is a health issue noted at the healthy puppy exam, the breeder requires a second opinion by the veterinarian of their choice, within five days of purchase, before any claim can be made against Aston Acres Miniature Dachshunds. Return of puppy to breeder for this exam will be at the buyer’s expense. In the event that the puppy has been diagnosed by veterinarian, the breeders will replace puppy with one of a like kind. If your puppy should die, the breeders require a DNA test to prove it was the puppy that was sold, and then a necropsy performed by our veterinarian to ensure it in fact died of one of the above listed diseases before a replacement is provided.

I have read, understand, and agree to these terms and limitations. I consider this to be a legally binding Document. Possession of puppy by its new owner implies agreement with this contract.
